CHILD SUPPORT

Our experience:

JAY A. TAYLOR, P.C. collects family support payments, including child support, educational support, medical support, and spousal support payments. We are a Texas law firm and are bonded debt collectors. We are well-equipped to collect family support payments in Texas because of the automation of our computer network. This computer system keeps track of deadlines to notify us the day a legal document is needed. This means your case does not languish for months, waiting for someone to remember to take action on it. That translates into faster and  better recoveries for you.

We practice in courts throughout Texas. Over the past thirteen (13) years, JAY A. TAYLOR, P.C. has filed literally tens of thousands of collection cases throughout the state.

Our trained collectors have a combined collection experience of thirty (30) years.  In addition, the firm maintains a staff of bookkeepers to keep track of payments, so you get your money faster. We subscribe to many computer services that give us the information needed to locate missing parents or spouses. These services provide us with auto and real property ownership records, drivers license records, court records, voting records, and other kinds of information.

Our fee:

You will not have to pay anything unless and until we successfully collect payments from your ex-spouse. We are paid a percentage of the money collected. This percentage will be clearly stated in your written agreement with us. Court costs and any other expenses resulting from legal proceedings in your case will only be paid by you from your portion of any money collected. If  no money is collected, you will not be responsible for any court costs or litigation expenses.

THIS PARAGRAPH APPLIES ONLY TO FAMILY SUPPORT COLLECTIONS.

Change of address:

If you have previously completed a questionnaire and your address has changed, please call, write, or e-mail us immediately so that we can contact you. This is especially important if we are sending you payments. Our address, telephone number, and e-mail can be found in this website by clicking on “Contact Us”.
