Description: We have an immediate opening for a paralegal.
Candidates need strong organizational skills and a working knowledge of
WordPerfect. Candidates must be able to work an active motions and trial
docket. They need a thorough understanding of the Texas Rules of Civil
Procedure and be able to draft notices, motions, and orders. Candidates
must be able to draft complete discovery responses, including any
applicable objections or privileges. Candidates will need familiarity
with procedures found in Chapters 157, 158 & 159 of the Texas Family
Code for enforcing child support obligations. They must be responsible
and have disciplined work habits to help oversee filing, docketing,
motion practice, and application of post-judgment remedies for 750 -
1000 lawsuits per month filed throughout the state. Candidates must be
able to pass an extensive background check.
Pay is
commensurate with experience. 40 hours per week. Hours are from 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Firm provides excellent
